Stars and Sabers Gazette Vol. 3
Dear Readers and Supporters,
We've been busily editing short stories for our upcoming anthology, Of Shadows, Stars, and Sabers and welcoming a new author on board (read on)!

Crowdfunding Update
As of today, our Indiegogo campaign has expired. We did not reach the target, but we will still receive the contributions and will send the perks to the contributors when the book is ready in February (if not sooner).
We return now to the ongoing Ko-fi donation page, which has been directly funding the generous payments for our anthology authors!

Choose the one-time donation on the site (which is Editor-in-Chief Jendia Gammon's Ko-fi page).
THANK YOU for helping support this book. Shares of the link are also tremendously helpful!
Interview of Jendia and Gareth About Stars and Sabers

Imprint Updates
This is deadline month for all short stories for our anthology Of Shadows, Stars, and Sabers. We're enjoying editing these stories and paying our authors a great rate! But also, we love to read them, and can't wait to showcase them all in the book.
We're featuring our authors in a rolling out of posts on our new website's news page. Head here to see them as we post them:
Our Cover Artist
We're featuring our cover artist, Niall Grant, who made our exquisite anthology book cover! Niall is a reputable artist who has worked with Big Five publishers as well as studios. Read all about the process involved in the book cover design for Of Shadows, Stars, and Sabers in our interview of Niall:

What's Ahead
We've chosen our next anthologies, and they are themed! We have begun the planning for those for summer and autumn of 2025.
We also have begun acquiring single author books. We will have at least one announcement to share in the coming weeks!
If all goes according to plan, there will be a minimum of four titles released by Stars and Sabers Publishing in 2025. But! We need to be sure our first anthology is funded. It's not just the author payments involved. The making of the book and the purchasing of shipping materials, shipping costs, swag costs, and other fees related to bookmaking all factor into our need for crowdfunding. Because we know so many readers are excited, we started tiers as low as $5, which gets your name in the acknowledgements of this groundbreaking anthology.
We're showcasing both established and new authors, expanding genres, and representing several nations around the globe. Welcome to this new venture. We hope you love it!
